How do I identify my computer information?
This information could be asked by the Huddly Support consultant if contacting Huddly support.
The following guide will show you how to obtain information on what type of PC you are using, the manufacturer and the Serial number of the device you are using.
Please take note that on most devices this information can be found underneath your device. Before you look, please make sure to disconnect all cables.
In case of absence of the required information, you could follow the next steps. The provided images are based on a Windows 10 operating system, the steps are however similar on all systems.
- Click on the Windows symbol, left lower hand side of your screen, type in Command Prompt and open the proposed program.
In case the program does not provide you a result you might need to run Command Prompt as an Administrator: Right click on the program Command Prompt: Run as administrator.
- Please insert the following command line:
wmic computersystem get model, manufacturer, systemtype
- You can now provide the Huddly support consultant with more accurate information for further assistance.
