Do you see a mute logo when you try to run the L1?
If you see a mute camera logo in a camera application when you try to use the camera after having installed the L1, the camera is most likely not properly connected.
Try to re-connect the camera and make sure the ethernet cable is properly connected on both ends. Wait 20-30 seconds after re-connecting for the picture to appear.
